Class 2 HGV HIAB Driver

About the role

Join a respected builders merchant in Gloucester as a permanent Class 2 HGV HIAB Driver. You will operate a 26‑tonne vehicle equipped with a Brick Grab HIAB to deliver building supplies to commercial and residential sites across the Gloucestershire region.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 26‑tonne HGV with a Brick Grab HIAB for multi‑drop deliveries.
• Load, transport and unload building materials safely and efficiently.
• Plan and follow delivery routes across the region, meeting scheduled time windows.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine safety checks.
• Adhere to health, safety and road‑traffic regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Experience distributing building supplies, preferably within a builders merchant environment.
• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• ALLMI (HIAB) certification.
• Willingness to work a 44.5‑hour week, Monday‑Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
• Reliable attendance and a good road‑safety record.
