Class 2 Service Driver

About the role

The Class 2 Service Driver role at PHS involves following a pre‑planned daily route to service healthcare and commercial customers, operating a soft‑compaction vehicle to collect offensive waste, and ensuring full compliance with documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a pre‑planned daily route visiting healthcare and commercial customers
• Drive a soft‑compaction vehicle to empty and collect Euro bins containing offensive waste
• Complete compliance documentation both digitally and on paper
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months
• Category C (LGV Class 2) licence
• Current Driver CPC card and valid digital tachograph card
• Maximum six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last five years
• Available to work within a 6 am–6 pm window, 40 hours per week
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and professional with good attention to detail
