Class Teacher – Year 3 (Inner London) – Full‑time

About the role

A well‑regarded, inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a committed Class Teacher for a Year 3 class starting September 2026. The role offers a supportive, community‑focused environment with high expectations for pupil wellbeing and achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS2 lessons across reading, writing and mathematics.
• Build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy for Year 3 pupils.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and close gaps.
• Create a calm, focused and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the year group and contribute to shared planning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent primary teaching experience in the UK.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Reflective, organised and committed to pupil progress.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
