About the role
Academics is looking for a motivated Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester. You will work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging learning environment and support pupils, especially those with additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering inclusive lessons.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, focusing on pupils with SEN.
- Help maintain a safe, organised and supportive classroom routine.
- Support daily administrative tasks and classroom organisation.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, caring and reliable.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- Full‑time availability (8:30 am‑3:30 pm).
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
