Cleaner – Community & Void Property Maintenance

About the role

Join Two Rivers Housing’s cleaning team and help keep shared spaces and void properties clean, safe and welcoming for tenants across Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean.

Key responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, void properties and building facilities, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and restroom cleaning.
• Record cleaning activities and report any deficiencies or repair needs.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
• Carry cleaning equipment between floors and climb stairs as required.
• Use a company van for travel between sites.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness for regular activity and lifting.
• Driver’s licence.
• Strong time‑management and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Awareness of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
• Ability to follow job and safety instructions.
• Use of IT equipment to record accurate data.
