About the role

Join Mitie's facilities management team as a Cleaner in Londonderry, delivering high‑quality cleaning services across designated premises. This permanent part‑time position offers a supportive environment where you can develop cleaning expertise while contributing to a safe and welcoming workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean, well‑maintained and safe, meeting agreed service level agreements.
• Understand the cleaning schedule, areas to be serviced and appropriate chemicals.
• Follow health and safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and seek continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• Open, honest, self‑driven and determined.
• Flexible approach to a part‑time schedule (Tuesday & Thursday, 1‑hour shifts).

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.
• Familiarity with the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
