Cleaner – Residential Development in Canary Wharf

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaner to join the team responsible for maintaining a prestigious residential development in Canary Wharf. You will work independently to ensure all internal communal areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain entrance lobbies, corridors, stairwells, lifts and other communal spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop hard floors and carpets as required.
• Dust, wipe down surfaces, fixtures, handrails, skirting boards and communal furniture.
• Clean internal glass, mirrors, doors and high‑touch points.
• Sanitise communal washrooms, restock supplies and keep them fully stocked.
• Empty litter bins, replace liners and report any shortages.
• Report maintenance defects, health‑and‑safety concerns and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience in residential, commercial or hospitality settings is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage workload independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, professional attitude with a proactive approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and health‑and‑safety procedures.
