Cleaner – The William Foster Pub

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to join the team at The William Foster, a busy city‑centre pub in Lincoln. No previous experience is required – we will provide full on‑the‑job training so you can succeed in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the pub, including the bar, dining area, restrooms and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces and emptying bins.
• Support the team by ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for guests, especially during peak periods and events.
• Follow health and safety standards and report any hazards or maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to organise your workload and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• No prior cleaning experience needed – training will be provided.
