Cleaner/Housekeeper – On‑site at HMP Foston Hall

About the role

Amey is looking for a reliable Cleaner/Housekeeper to join the on‑site team at HMP Foston Hall. You will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering a safe and tidy environment for staff and inmates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services that meet contractual standards.
• Control stock levels and order consumables as needed.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely in line with training.
• Maintain high‑quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support local and business zero‑carbon initiatives where appropriate.
• Uphold health and safety standards across the premises.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a prison environment.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Willing to obtain Prison Security Clearance (supported by Amey).

Required skills

• Safe operation of cleaning machinery.
