Cleaning and Waste Operative

About the role

You will join the cleaning and waste team in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring all areas – including washrooms and canteens – are kept clean and tidy. The role involves using appropriate equipment and products while responding quickly to client call‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas.
• Cleaning washrooms, canteens and other communal spaces.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment safely.
• Managing waste disposal in line with company procedures.
• Responding promptly to client call‑outs and urgent cleaning requests.
• Adhering to Health & Safety legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Motivated, reliable and hardworking.
• Flexible and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Willing to undergo a Basic Disclosure Check and possible drug/alcohol screening.
