Cleaning Assistant – Flexible Shifts at York Stadium

About the role

We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant to join the team at York Stadium Leisure Complex. The role involves flexible shift work, covering early mornings to evenings on weekdays and weekends, ensuring the venue remains clean, safe and welcoming for visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the centre.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and spaces for events and activities.
• Carry out routine monitoring and basic maintenance of equipment and fittings.
• Report any faults or required repairs to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service, assist with bookings and promote the facility.
