Cleaning Manager

About the role

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead its cleaning team across facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness in all areas while managing staff and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms and other ad‑hoc locations.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment of new cleaners.
• Identify training needs, deliver training where possible and maintain training records.
• Participate in investigations of personal accidents or disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning product stock, maintain appropriate levels and place orders within agreed budgets.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Previous experience as a manager or supervisor in cleaning or a similar field (desirable).
• Experience in staffing, rota planning, training and basic HR compliance.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and days as required.
