About the role
OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead its cleaning team across facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness in all areas while managing staff and resources.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms and other ad‑hoc locations.
- Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment of new cleaners.
- Identify training needs, deliver training where possible and maintain training records.
- Participate in investigations of personal accidents or disciplinary matters.
- Monitor cleaning product stock, maintain appropriate levels and place orders within agreed budgets.
Required profile
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Previous experience as a manager or supervisor in cleaning or a similar field (desirable).
- Experience in staffing, rota planning, training and basic HR compliance.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and days as required.
