Cleaning Operative – Evening Shift (B91)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our B Corp‑certified facilities management team in Solihull. The role is a permanent, evening shift position (17:00‑19:00, Monday‑Friday) focused on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to keep them spotless.
• Dust surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
• Empty bins, replace liners and keep waste areas tidy.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors.
• Restock bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels.
• Order and maintain cleaning consumables for the site.
• Follow health and safety procedures, use protective equipment and report any hazards.
• Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and supervisors, reporting issues promptly.

• Commitment to high cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard.
• Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and service requirements.
• Desirable: previous cleaning experience (training will be provided).
