About the role
We are looking for reliable Cleaning Operatives to support Royal Mail facilities in Newcastle. This temporary position offers the chance to work in a well‑established environment, ensuring clean and safe operational areas.
Key responsibilities
- Clean sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets and office spaces.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in high‑traffic zones.
- Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete routine cleaning checklists and report any site needs.
- Work independently or as part of a team across large areas.
Required profile
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliability and good time‑keeping.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Monday‑Saturday shift from 09:30 to 14:30.
- Assignment runs until 29 / 08 / 2026 with immediate start.
