Cleaning Plant Operative – Waste Transfer Station

About the role
We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Cleaning Plant Operative to join the team at a busy waste transfer station in Ruislip. The role involves washing down plant and equipment, maintaining clean work areas and supporting safe site operations on a full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out wash‑downs of plant, machinery and operational equipment.
- Clean designated areas within the waste transfer station following site procedures.
- Support safe and compliant site operations at all times.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure tasks meet Health & Safety and environmental standards.
- Identify and report hazards, faults and incidents promptly.
- Assist with smooth day‑to‑day operations in a busy waste transfer environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of the site team.
Required profile
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, waste, recycling or similar environments (desirable but not essential).
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
- Good attention to detail and reliability.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.

What we offer
- £13.70 per hour, paid weekly.
- Monday‑Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm shift.
- Immediate start available.
- Ongoing, stable assignment.
