Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a confident and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to lead the food‑court cleaning team at a busy shopping centre in West Thurrock. This newly created permanent position offers the chance to own the cleaning operation, ensure high standards of hygiene, and support a dedicated crew.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the food‑court cleaning team.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance and conduct regular quality checks.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and equipment is used correctly.
• Liaise with centre management to respond promptly to operational requirements.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, incidents and stock of consumables.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in cleaning or facilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
