Cleaning Technician

About the role

Join a well‑established Housing Association in a rewarding position where you will help keep offices, sheltered housing schemes and communal residential areas clean, safe and welcoming. The role is full‑time on a long‑term contract covering sickness absence, offering stable work for a proactive cleaning professional.

Key responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, offices and specialist housing properties.
• Carry out block inspections, spotting hazards, spillages or areas needing attention.
• Use a range of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Remove litter, refuse and small‑scale graffiti.
• Complete daily and weekly checks, including basic fire‑safety checks.
• Report repairs, damage and larger waste or environmental issues.
• Work independently while supporting the wider cleaning team.

Required profile

• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• Good understanding of basic health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, professional and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and meet high cleaning standards.
• Capability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

What we offer

• £16.89 – £17 per hour (£16.89 shown as base rate).
• 37 hours per week: Mon‑Thu 7:00‑15:00, Fri 7:00‑14:30.
• Long‑term contract covering sickness absence.
