Client Account Executive – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Client Account Executive to join a dynamic financial services team in Colchester. The role involves managing client cases from inception to completion, working across multiple investment platforms and ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and progress client cases, providing regular updates.
• Liaise with clients and providers to resolve queries and ensure timely case completion.
• Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO).
• Work across investment platforms such as Aberdeen, Fidelity, and Quilter.
• Coordinate client payments and process transactions accurately.
• Manage pension and ISA transfers, trust applications, and inheritance tax planning.
• Process tax wrapper switches, fund withdrawals, income payments, and annuity applications.
• Submit applications across multiple provider systems and manage Letters of Authority.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice.
• Proven ability to process new business across a wide range of financial products.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage cases from submission to completion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
