Client Accounts Manager – Trusted Firm, Valued Team Member

About the role

Join a supportive, vibrant practice where your expertise truly matters. As a Client Accounts Manager you will own a portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery while overseeing junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong, trusted client relationships as a go‑to advisor.
• Review preparation of statutory year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assess the quality of VAT returns and bookkeeping data.
• Review and complete corporation tax returns, providing advice where required.
• Produce self‑assessment tax returns and check team submissions.
• Support clients with general accounting and business queries.
• Oversee and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified.
• Experience in an accountancy practice, including staff oversight and work review.
• Strong knowledge of UK statutory and tax compliance.
• Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management abilities.
