Client Facing Pensions Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, client‑facing initiatives within a global financial services organisation. The role focuses on pensions administration and consulting, delivering implementations, benefit changes, dashboards and de‑risking projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of large, high‑visibility pension projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, third‑party providers and internal stakeholders.
• Interpret client needs and strategic journeys to shape project outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration across multiple service lines and external partners, defining roles and responsibilities.
• Review and validate complex project proposals, identify risks and recommend adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven client‑facing project management experience, preferably within the pensions sector.
• Working knowledge of Defined Benefit pensions.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple deadlines and adapt to change.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Stakeholder management.
• Risk assessment and mitigation.
