Client Liaison Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Client Liaison Officer to join our growing professional services firm in London. Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior leadership, you will own the client onboarding journey and support ongoing relationship management in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through onboarding and keeping them informed of deadlines and requirements.
• Liaise between clients and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery and schedule meetings.
• Collect and follow up on documentation needed for compliance, KYC and AML checks.
• Maintain accurate client records in the practice-management system and prepare engagement documentation.
• Track client deadlines, manage workflow and support electronic signature processes.
• Provide clients with guidance on using the firm’s software portals.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong people focus.
• Proactive, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to challenge and improve processes.
• Experience in professional services or multi‑entity environments, preferably with exposure to process improvement.
• Knowledge of AML and KYC requirements is essential.
