Client Manager – Accountancy Practice (Bristol)

About the role

Join a brand‑new Bristol office of an established accountancy practice and play a pivotal part in shaping its growth. As a Client Manager you will act as the primary contact for a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, delivering proactive accounting, tax and business advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse client portfolio and serve as the main point of contact.
• Provide proactive accounting, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT advice.
• Review statutory accounts and tax work for accuracy.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with partners to establish and expand the new Bristol office.
• Support the adoption of cloud technology and modern working practices.
• Identify opportunities to add value as clients’ businesses grow.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with solid experience in an accountancy practice.
• Proven track record of managing your own client portfolio.
• Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
• Enjoys building relationships and embracing new technology.
