Client Manager – Accountancy Practice (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing accountancy practice to recruit an experienced Client Manager. The role offers a hybrid working model and a clear pathway to senior leadership, allowing you to shape the firm’s future while managing a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed companies across multiple sectors.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
• Act as the primary point of contact, delivering commercial advice to clients.
• Review junior accountants’ work and support their professional development.
• Identify opportunities to add advisory value and improve client service.
• Collaborate with Partners on business growth and client retention strategies.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and corporation tax.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
• Comfortable reviewing work and mentoring junior staff.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Committed to a long‑term career in an ambitious, expanding practice.
