Client Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role

We are seeking a qualified accountant with a strong small‑practice background to join a growing accountancy firm in Eastbourne as a Client Manager. The role offers a varied workload, a friendly environment and clear career progression within an ambitious firm.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, building trusted relationships.
• Prepare and review year‑end accounts, personal and corporate tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts.
• Manage workflow and ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
• Contribute to business development and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience managing a client portfolio.
• Self‑motivated, organised and eager to take responsibility.
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Resident within commuting distance of Eastbourne, East Sussex.
