Client Manager – Accounting & Finance Services

About the role

The Client Manager will lead a portfolio of accounting and finance clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and strategic advice. Based in Eastbourne, this permanent position offers a hybrid working model within a well‑established business services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering timely accounting, tax and reporting services.
• Assist with audit assignments and preparation of financial statements, corporate tax returns and management accounts.
• Provide strategic financial advice to help clients achieve their business objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee junior staff, ensuring quality standards and offering guidance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and drive business growth.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a client‑facing accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to solving client challenges.
