Client Manager – Chartered Accountant

About the role

The Alanbrookes Group is seeking a qualified accountant to join our Devizes office as a Client Manager. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a diverse portfolio of individuals, SMEs, and social enterprises while delivering high‑quality advisory and compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Prepare and review accounts and tax returns for individuals, SMEs, and social enterprises.
• Support tax planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage assurance reporting and oversee audit processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or a clear track record that demonstrates qualification.
• Experience managing a client portfolio with a client‑focused approach.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to commute to Devizes and work on‑site.
