About the role
The Alanbrookes Group is seeking a qualified accountant to join our Devizes office as a Client Manager. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a diverse portfolio of individuals, SMEs, and social enterprises while delivering high‑quality advisory and compliance services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Prepare and review accounts and tax returns for individuals, SMEs, and social enterprises.
- Support tax planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage assurance reporting and oversee audit processes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and processes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
Required profile
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or a clear track record that demonstrates qualification.
- Experience managing a client portfolio with a client‑focused approach.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to commute to Devizes and work on‑site.
