Client Onboarding Specialist – Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to join a leading asset management firm. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless onboarding and off‑boarding experience for high‑value clients while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end client onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Conduct Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks and client due‑diligence activities.
• Request, review and collect AML and KYC documentation from clients.
• Liaise directly with high‑value clients throughout the onboarding journey, providing a professional and responsive service.
• Establish client accounts and memberships in line with internal procedures.
• Collaborate with the wider Client Services team to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Investigate and resolve onboarding‑related queries efficiently.
• Monitor onboarding timelines and manage varying client requirements to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives for onboarding and service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in client onboarding, AML, KYC or related roles within asset management, financial services or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, client due‑diligence and onboarding procedures.
• Proven ability to manage onboarding and off‑boarding from initiation to completion.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship‑building skills.
