About the role

PIMCO is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its Client Solutions & Analytics team in London. The team translates PIMCO’s intellectual capital into actionable investment insights for a diverse client base, covering portfolio diagnostics, asset allocation, optimisation, and asset‑liability modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior strategists to support account managers and clients in defining investment objectives.
• Deliver asset‑allocation and risk‑management solutions, both for pure‑asset and ALM (asset‑liability management) projects.
• Utilise proprietary software and external data sources to run risk analytics, optimisation models, economic scenario analyses and stress tests.
• Produce customised analysis and written research that informs client discussions and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of major asset classes and their interactions within a portfolio.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate complex analytical results into clear client recommendations.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
