Clinical Administrator

About the role

This position supports the day‑to‑day clinical and administrative needs of a residential care setting in Muswell Hill. Working 30 hours per week, you will ensure medication safety, coordinate health professional visits, and maintain accurate resident records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medication stock and administer medication when required.
• Accompany visiting health professionals and record updates in the Nourish system.
• Prepare and send referrals to community MDT services under supervision.
• Coordinate annual vaccination programmes, handling consent, documentation and outcome recording.
• Arrange chiropody, optician and dental appointments, update care records and inform accounts for billing.
• Support new resident admissions by completing care plans, risk assessments, observations, weights and inventories.
• Set up Quick Tag for night checks and register new residents with their GP where agreed.
• Maintain the DoLS tracking spreadsheet and provide reception cover during breaks.
• Assist care staff with call‑bell responses and resident escorting as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a medical or care‑home environment is preferred.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week on‑site in Muswell Hill.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Nourish care‑management software.
• Competence in using Microsoft Excel for tracking spreadsheets.
