Clinical Deputy Manager

About the role

Agincare is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for its Waterside Care Home in London. This full‑time position combines clinical expertise with compassionate leadership to ensure residents receive safe, person‑centred care in a warm, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of care assistants and registered nurses, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care.
• Assist the Registered Manager in day‑to‑day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.
• Conduct inductions, supervise staff, and perform regular care audits to maintain best practice.
• Develop and review individualized care plans, focusing on dignity and resident preferences.
• Liaise with families, social workers, and other professionals to provide holistic care.
• Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding concerns and clinical risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Experience leading teams of care assistants and registered nurses.
• Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin.
• QCF Level 3 diploma or higher in Health and Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC key lines of enquiry and related regulatory frameworks.
• Availability to work 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends and two on‑floor shifts.
