Clinical Manager – Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic to take on the Clinical Manager position for our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in South London. This role blends autonomous patient care with leadership of a multidisciplinary team, aiming to improve service delivery, patient outcomes and clinical governance.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients with urgent care needs.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage patient flow, service delivery and operational performance.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support recruitment, training, supervision and development of clinical staff.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic with current professional registration.
- Independent Prescriber with advanced practice training (Level 7 or equivalent).
- Minimum 4 years post‑registration experience, including at least 2 years of autonomous practice in a UTC, Emergency Department or Primary Care setting.
- Proven experience managing minor illness, minor injuries and acute presentations.
