About the role

We are working with a highly regarded, Legal 500‑ranked national firm seeking a Solicitor to join their established Clinical Negligence team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist claimant practice handling complex, high‑value clinical negligence work within a supportive and well‑structured team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of medical negligence files.
• Support senior lawyers on complex, high‑value multi‑track matters.
• Advise clients with empathy and clarity throughout the lifecycle of their claim.
• Assist in securing interim payments to support rehabilitation and care.
• Gain exposure to high‑quality litigation and expert‑led work.

Required profile

• NQ–3 PQE Solicitor with experience in medical negligence (or a relevant training seat).
• Exposure to claimant clinical negligence or high‑value personal injury work.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop technically.
• Confident communicator with a client‑focused and empathetic approach.
• Keen to develop within a specialist, high‑quality practice area.
