Clinical Negligence Solicitor – London

About the role

Our client, a top‑tier City of London law firm, is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their dedicated team. You will work directly with the Department Director, providing compassionate, no‑win‑no‑fee representation for families affected by medical negligence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of clinical negligence claims, including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery, dental and hospital negligence, misdiagnosis and surgical negligence.
• Attend client meetings, take detailed instructions and prepare comprehensive case files.
• Draft schedules of loss, review medical records and ensure accurate time‑costing procedures.
• Prepare and file court documents, adhering to the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and implement supervisory recommendations.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in clinical negligence or personal injury law.
• Proven track record of handling complex cases to successful outcomes.
• Clean, valid practising certificate at the time of application.
• Team‑player with a proactive, client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
