Clinical Negligence Solicitor (NQ) – Birmingham

About the role

Our client is looking for a newly qualified solicitor to join a leading Clinical Negligence team in Birmingham. You will manage your own caseload of multi‑track medical negligence claims and work alongside senior colleagues on complex, high‑severity matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of multi‑track clinical negligence claims.
• Support senior solicitors on high‑value, high‑severity cases.
• Handle a variety of clinical negligence matters, including obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology and psychiatric claims.
• Provide clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Seek interim payments where appropriate to support clients’ rehabilitation and ongoing care.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor with experience or a training seat in medical negligence.
• Experience handling multi‑track and high‑value claims.
• Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Client‑focused, empathetic and collaborative approach.
