Clinical Pharmacist – Evening & Weekend Shifts (Hybrid)

About the role

Montu UK is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join its multidisciplinary team in Kings Cross, London. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and requires evening and occasional weekend availability to support patients using cannabis‑based medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification.
• At least 2 years of prescribing experience in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to work evenings and two weekend days per month (day‑in‑lieu provided).
• Clear communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands.
