Clinical Psychologist – CAMHS (Permanent, 36 h/week)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join the CAMHS team at Ayrshire Central Hospital on a permanent basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality psychological services to children, adolescents and families while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy, maintaining a substantial caseload.
• Deliver supervision, training and team formulation for staff across the service.
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to design and implement psychological interventions.
• Offer consultation to colleagues and support multi‑site service delivery as required.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Essential UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Clinical psychology assessment and intervention.
• Supervision and training of healthcare professionals.
• Team formulation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
