Clinical Psychologist – CAMHS (Permanent, 36h/week)

About the role

This permanent position is based at Ayrshire Central Hospital within the CAMHS service of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The role offers a 36‑hour week and focuses on delivering high‑quality psychological care to children, adolescents and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training, team formulation and consultation to multidisciplinary staff.
• Maintain a significant caseload of individual and family assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence‑based psychological therapies.
• Support service delivery across multiple sites according to evolving needs.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and formulation for children, adolescents and families.
• Delivery of evidence‑based psychological interventions.
• Supervision and training of multidisciplinary staff.
