Clinical Service Manager – Cancer Services

About the role

The Clinical Service Manager (Cancer Services) will lead the delivery of high‑quality, compassionate cancer care at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. This senior nursing role is central to fostering a collaborative, person‑focused environment that supports patients, service users and a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership to the cancer nursing team, promoting a culture of safety, excellence and continuous improvement.
• Implement the Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan to achieve the service’s vision, ambitions and values.
• Ensure care is delivered safely, effectively and compassionately, meeting regulatory and quality standards.
• Support the development and retention of a diverse, inclusive workforce.
• Collaborate with clinical, managerial and partner organisations to optimise cancer service pathways.
