About the role

The Clinical Site Coordinator will join NHS Lothian’s nursing family at Western General Hospital, providing inspirational leadership and supporting high‑quality patient care. This role is central to delivering the values and ambitions set out in the Nursing & Midwifery Strategic Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff to ensure compassionate, safe, and effective care.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Education and Training team to deliver robust induction programmes and preceptorship.
• Promote alignment with the Strategic Plan’s vision, ambitions and values across the site.
• Participate in values‑based recruitment and competency‑based interview processes.
