This full‑time position plays a key role in ensuring an outstanding learning experience within priority sectors and skills shortage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and manage study programmes that meet local, regional and national workforce needs in health and social care.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to emerging themes and priorities, creating new curriculum to introduce fresh skills.
• Translate sector‑specific themes into training and education opportunities across further and higher education.
• Design and develop Level 2/3 and T‑level health programmes starting September 2024.
• Coordinate delivery of specific units across FE and HE programmes, ensuring compliance with college standards and external requirements.

Required profile

• Expert knowledge in health, social care and related educational fields.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective curricula and study programmes.
• Strong network of contacts in the health and social care sector and ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and fundamental British values.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Nurse, Midwife, Paramedic, AHP) are highly desirable.
