About the role
Scarlet is building a roster of clinical experts who can be called upon for short, focused engagements on medical device assessments. As a Clinical Specialist you will provide expert clinical insight to help the company reach evidence‑based regulatory decisions, enabling safe AI‑enabled devices to reach patients faster. Engagements typically last a few hours of review or discussion and may be performed remotely or on‑site as needed, collaborating with Scarlet’s multidisciplinary team of clinicians, engineers and regulators.
Key responsibilities
- Provide targeted clinical insight on medical devices during regulatory assessments.
- Review evidence and discuss assessment questions when your clinical expertise is relevant.
- Advise on clinical performance, safety and benefit for a device’s intended clinical use.
Required profile
- A degree in clinical medicine, nursing or dentistry.
- Certified specialization in a medical field.
- Current registration as a medical practitioner.
