Cloud Architect (Enhanced DV Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect with an active Enhanced DV clearance to join our consultancy delivering cutting‑edge solutions for national security clients. The role is based in Cheltenham and involves hands‑on design and implementation of cloud‑native architectures across high‑impact, mission‑critical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise AWS‑based cloud solutions for defence and security programmes.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver micro‑service architectures and infrastructure‑as‑code implementations.
• Apply structured architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe to ensure compliance and scalability.
• Lead technical discussions, manage stakeholder expectations and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain a strong focus on security, resilience and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Active Enhanced DV clearance.
• Based in Cheltenham or able to commute.
• Proven experience as a hands‑on cloud architect delivering AWS solutions.
• Leadership and stakeholder management experience.
