Cloud Architect – Enterprise Cloud Migration Programme

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead a large‑scale migration of an on‑premise estate (RHEL, Oracle, Microsoft) to our cloud platform. You will own the target architecture, drive governance through the Architecture Review Board, define migration strategies and ensure a secure, resilient, and cost‑effective cloud adoption across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end migration of a complex on‑premise environment to the cloud.
• Design and own the target cloud architecture.
• Drive governance and standards via the Architecture Review Board.
• Define migration patterns, reference architectures and operational guardrails.
• Ensure security, resilience and cost optimisation throughout the migration.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT experience with proven enterprise cloud migration leadership.
• Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases and Microsoft technologies.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, security and governance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and champion architectural best practice.
