Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) – Remote – Competitive Salary + Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong AWS experience to join our growing team. You will play a key part in designing, building and maintaining secure cloud environments that protect our business from emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement resilient cloud infrastructures that are hardened against security risks.
• Develop, assess and recommend cloud security solutions for systems, databases and networks.
• Monitor logs, perform vulnerability assessments and analyse security incidents.
• Contribute to the definition of security policies, procedures and standards for cloud environments.
• Create technical and managerial security reports for cloud‑based applications and infrastructure.
• Test and maintain disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity procedures.
• Control access to sensitive data and ensure confidentiality and integrity during transmission, storage and processing.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in information security with a focus on cloud security.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty and WAF.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud (advantage).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform (advantage).
• Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and container security (advantage).
