Cloud Technical Writer – Remote (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our Microsoft Azure platform. The role is remote, outside IR35, and runs for six months, supporting secure and compliant cloud adoption across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update Azure build standards, security controls, architectural patterns and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Information Security and Development teams to capture technical details.
• Publish documentation via the Development Portal, Git repositories, Confluence and SharePoint.
• Ensure all documentation is version‑controlled, accessible and aligned with enterprise architecture and security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing technical documentation for cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly content.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date standards.
