Cloud/DevOps Platform Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud/DevOps Platform Administrator to manage and optimise the client’s tooling infrastructure, including GitLab, Jira and Confluence. The role is remote within the UK with occasional travel to London or Manchester, and focuses on reliability, security and performance of these platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GitLab, Jira and Confluence environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement security controls, access management and compliance checks using InSpec.
• Support internal teams with configuration, troubleshooting and best‑practice guidance.
• Participate in cloud migration projects and integrate platform tools with cloud services.
• Monitor system health, generate reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering GitLab, Jira and Confluence.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud migration concepts.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work cross‑functionally.
