CNC Grinder – 4 Day Week, £50k‑£54k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join a well‑established defence specialist company in Bideford. The position offers a four‑day work week (Monday‑Thursday) with specialist training on both online and offline programming, plus the opportunity to earn overtime at 1.5× rate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CNC grinding on steel, copper and plastic to a tolerance of 0.005 microns.
• Set up, operate and maintain CNC grinding equipment in a clean, state‑of‑the‑art workshop.
• Follow safety and quality standards for defence‑grade components.
• Utilise specialist programming training to optimise grinding cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Grinder.
• Willingness to work a four‑day week and undertake programming training.
• Ability to work onsite in Bideford.
