About the role
The CNC Machinist I will support the production of medical devices by operating and setting up CNC 2‑ and 3‑axis machines. Working under moderate supervision, you will run multiple machines simultaneously and ensure parts meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes, EDM wire, plunge machines and manual tools to produce components.
- Perform basic machine set‑ups, monitor programs, and make offsets or adjustments as needed.
- Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
- Adhere to health, safety, and quality management system procedures.
- Participate in required training and continuous improvement activities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1+ year experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or lean manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to work on shift mornings and afternoons.
