CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

Metalcor Building Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join its manufacturing team in London, ON. You will work with both conventional and computer‑controlled machine tools to produce high‑precision components for building construction materials.

Key responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances for machine parts and lay out work pieces for assembly.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Repair, maintain, and calibrate machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other instruments.
• Document deviations, maintain inspection records, and complete inspection reports.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in CNC machining or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including early morning, evening, night, and weekends.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on safety and quality.
