CNC Machinist – Programming Training (Yeovil)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join a family‑run manufacturing business in the South West. The role offers on‑the‑job training in FANUC programming and CAD/CAM software while you continue to operate and set milling and turning machines.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and program CNC milling and turning machines according to drawing specifications.
- Complete work accurately and meet production targets.
- Participate in structured training sessions for FANUC and CAD/CAM programming.
- Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, Operator, Setter or Programmer.
- Desire to develop programming skills and progress within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday and commute to Yeovil or surrounding towns.
Required skills
- FANUC CNC control.
- CAD/CAM software proficiency.
- General CNC machining knowledge.
